In a black field on top you can fill in “category”. “disney” is the most wanted DVD (did you expect something else?) and in “clothing” it’s “Coach”, “Chanel” and “Gucci”. See, how this can give you ideas?
You can also see the 5 largest stores for every category and the most watched items. On the bottom of the page you find some helpful links (kijiji, shopping.com and others).
The best part with this kind of information is that people that search on eBay want to BUY, they are not merely looking for information. On wordtracker other keywords may be popular, but it doesn’t mean people want to buy these.

2. Which Paypal Shops sell most? https://www.paypal.com/shops
Here you can see which shops using paypal do the most transactions. The shops for each category are ranked after volume. The number displayed behind the shopname means that (xxx) Verified PayPal members have paid this merchant. So here you’ll find not how many are searching but how many people have actually bought! No guessing here. The cash is flowing!

3. What are peoples looking for at shopping.com? http://shopping.com/top_searches
So here is another great site which tells you what BUYERS are searching for. You get a customer demand index with very detailed categories. The index is updated every two weeks. If you click on one of the categories you get a list of the 100 most popular keywords that people typed in for that category. For the category “cars” for example it was today: “toyota, cars, honda, ford, used”. (Why do so many people type in “cars”?) Never mind, we still got the three most popular brands displayed for us, didn’t we?

4. You can check your keywords with the help of wordtracker: www.wordtracker.com
Now you understand how to use the biggest shopping sites to generate ideas in which market you want to invest your time and effort. When you found the product you want to sell, check how many people per day are searching for it. With wordtracker you get the exact numbers of searches for your keywords.
